A Dip in The Bay
January 21, 2013
Recently, Brian Clarke, Joe Bressler and myself visited the lovely city of San Francisco. In hopes of seeking refuge from the wintery weather looming in NY and to convene with Brian Delatorre (who was already out there), it was decided that the first two weeks of December would be the ideal timeframe for our trip. None of us had ever been to SF before. Albeit what had been told to us by friends about the Bay Area or seen in videos, we really didn’t know what to expect.
Of course we’d heard tales of the great Mexican food, big hills, and gem house spots. That alone seemed chill to me. I was already sold. Although, I was still very curious about San Fransisco. What did it really have to offer besides nice weather and much of the other staple/ cliche things you always hear about it? After a few phone calls and a few more clicks of the mouse, our little trip was set in stone. We were on our way to find out.

Took a day off and met up with some of our Aussie mates who just so happened to be in the States. A short drive over the Golden Gate Bridge led us to the Dipsea Trail located in Mt. Malapais State Park. Equipped with a backpack full of beer cans, we hiked up to find a clearing we could post up for the day. This to me, was the highlight of the trip.
