Vans Off The Wall T.V. put together this video recap from the “Pave The Way” opening at the Vans DQM General. For everyone that couldn’t make it to the show, this video is just a small inkling of the effort, history and good times that went into curating the show and opening night. Check it out!
The “Pave The Way” photo show opened to a packed house last Thursday at the Vans DQM General with skaters, friends and family gathering to view some of their favorite photos, meet the photographers and hear the stories behind some of the most epic shots throughout the history of skateboarding.
Season two of Grosso’s Loveletters to Skateboarding opened up last week with an amazing skate photo retrospective. Its hard to fit all that history into seven minutes, but if one guy could pull it off it’s Lance Dawes. Be sure to check out Lance, C.R. Stecyk III, Tobin Yelland and Mofo in “Pave The Way” opening this Thursday at The Vans DQM General.
Vans and DQM are proud to present “Pave The Way”, a photo exhibition opening December 1, 2011, at The Vans DQM General in New York. “Pave The Way” showcases the legendary work of C.R. Stecyk III, Mofo, Tobin Yelland and Lance Dawes, chronicling their lives and iconic careers shooting some of the most pivotal photographs throughout the history of skateboarding and beyond.
Brothers Atiba and Ako Jefferson will be having a photo show this Wednesday, July 13th at Max Fish. Be sure to stop by if you are in the city. Things will begin around 7pm. See you there.
