Season two of Grosso’s Loveletters to Skateboarding opened up last week with an amazing skate photo retrospective. Its hard to fit all that history into seven minutes, but if one guy could pull it off it’s Lance Dawes. Be sure to check out Lance, C.R. Stecyk III, Tobin Yelland and Mofo in “Pave The Way” opening this Thursday at The Vans DQM General.
“The SB Chronicles, Vol. 1” is the first installment of a trilogy of new skate videos scheduled for release from Nike SB. Filmed around the world, entirely in HD, the video showcases parts from Nike SB team riders Youness Amrani, Chet Childress, Clark Hassler, Stefan Janoski, Lewis Marnell, Daniel Shimizu, Grant Taylor, and Wieger Van Wageningen.

Now, thanks to sites like Chrome Ball Incident and Police Informer, you no longer need to small talk the guy with “The Best Skate Mag Collection Ever” to get into his mom’s basement and experience some killer nostalgia.
If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it still make a sound? So to ease the pain, the inaugural ceremony of the Winter sessions at House of Vans kicked off last night with a great crew of dudes from DQM and KCDC to shred, eat some pizza and drink some beers. Plenty of hammers hit the ground and even more empties fell into the trash can…
