DQM would like to welcome Lee Smith and Billy Rohan to the family. Easy Lee relocated all the way from sunny Barcelona, Spain, and Billy came from wherever Billy was that day (The White House, Iraq, Florida etc…), to work with us on our future endeavors.
Big thanks to Vans for putting together this proper edit of last weeks events. Check it out inside the post.
This past Saturday night, the DQM offices were transformed into an invite-only pop-up restaurant for a Family Meal featuring chef Dale Talde’s concept “Bodega”. If you watch Top Chef or know Dale you most likely have seen him rocking DQM on the show or around the L.E.S. I have had a love for food and cooking since I was a kid, so when I ran into Dale a couple of years ago at the shop I was stoked to sit down, have a beer and a chat.
Any wingding with a camera can take skate photos these days. With the availability of SLR’s and KGB’s and DVR’s and mini DV’s the internet skate zone has become a tiresome web of human excrement. Full colonial media blowout. In my opinion the only humans that deserve a website are those actually documenting skateboarding and the bullshit life that goes along with it.
